World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The feature of upgrading items allows players to increase the item level for weapons that can be equipped or armor. This increases the stats and may also include buffs or rerolls to an affix.
It is crucial to remember that upgrading common gear is not always worth the cost. Rare and exclusive gear will quickly outclass upgraded magic and common gear.
Cost
If a player wants to upgrade an item, they must pay Gold for the upgrade. The cost of upgrading an item is based on the current level of the item and the type of upgrade. For instance upgrading a weapon will generally be less expensive than upgrading armor because weapons have lower level requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.
The upgraded items will also have improved stats that can improve its performance in different ways. This may include boosting its attack strength or critical strike chance. An upgraded item may also give additional bonuses to the unit it's equipped with. These upgrades can be used to boost a variety of purposes such as to increase the overall power of a particular or group unit. They also can have a major impact on gameplay.
The items can be upgraded at any NPC that is an upgrader in the game. Generally these NPCs are found in capital cities or major questing locations. Players can also find upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses, or by talking to NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system allows players to upgrade the level of weapons, armor and trinkets. The process is similar to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the currency that is appropriate players need to visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.
Upgrades to items can be costly, particularly when it concerns armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade track you select, each item level increase will cost Valorstones or Crests. The total costs can be very prohibitive for players who don't have the resources or aren't willing to grind them.
Fortunately, the game allows players to roll an upgraded item using a special tool in the menu for items. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item for the level 1 version of it which comes with an additional set of bonus effects. This is useful for obtaining better scores on items that are already upgraded, but it can also be a waste of resources.
Requirements

This bonus is a mix of a substat that is guaranteed and random generated stats that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.
A player can Reroll an upgraded item using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a brand new one. The new item comes with different set of extra bonuses, and is of a lower level for the item. The rerolled item is also likely to have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to remember that the item rerolled will not be able to maintain its strength or have any of its wasted resources.
Rerolling some upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic, Rare or Unique. Additionally, exceptional items can be rerolled but the original stats are replaced by a flat-rate bonus. Rerolling an item that is Rare or Epic item will produce a Normal version, and rerolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.
Upgraded items could have additional adjustments that can boost their performance and boost their stats. These additional modifiers don't come with the upgrade cost. They can be acquired by the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. They can be earned through fulfilling specific missions in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. You will need Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 can be dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 is dropped by Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time
Item upgrades are a way to increase your ship's stats and gear without needing to level them up. You can view the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and select an item such as a ship, weapon or other accessory. Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor and trinkets to give an attribute bonus, or an additional effect, when the equipment is worn. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade components by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting, or as a reward. Players can also find upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor or salvaging using a salvage of a higher tier kit. Glyphs, which are stored in tools for gathering are able to be swapped out without restrictions.
The player can transform an item into another upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button with a reroll arrow. This will alter the layout and allow players to choose up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item will be replaced by an item of level 1. Recycled items won't keep their level, nor the resources used to upgrade them.
The highest level of upgrade an item can achieve is determined by its quality and tier. Rare items can be upgraded to a maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded up to level nine.
